This section describes how to log in to the CLI. You can log in to the storage system through the CLI to query, configure, manage, and maintain services running on the storage system.
Prerequisites
- A maintenance terminal has been correctly connected to the switch of the storage system through a network cable.
- The IP address of the maintenance terminal is reachable to the device management network of the storage system.
- If the maintenance terminal employs the Windows operating system, the Secure Shell (SSH) has been obtained.
You can log in to the CLI using an IP address.
Context
The default password of user root is Huawei@123.
The default password of user fsadmin is IaaS@OS-CLOUD9!.
The default password of user dsware is IaaS@OS-CLOUD9!.
Procedure
- Use an SSH tool to log in to a management node as user fsadmin.
- Run the su - root command and enter the password of user root to switch to user root.
- Run the /opt/dfv/oam/oam-u/ismcli/ismcli -u admin command and enter the password of user admin to log in to the CLI.
- If the default password of the user has been changed, use the new password to log in.
- To reduce security risks, change the default password of the default account immediately upon system delivery and periodically update the password.
- Run the exit command to log out of the CLI.
