Modifying a File System

Procedure

1. Choose Services > HDFS Service > File System.
2. Click More on the right of the desired file system and select Modify.

   The Modify File System page is displayed.

   

   Alternatively, you can choose Services > HDFS Service > Account and click the name of the desired account. On the page that is displayed, click the File System tab and click Modify.

3. Set the basic information about the file system.

   Table 1 describes related parameters.

   Table 1 File system parameters

   Parameter	Description
   Name	Indicates the name of the file system. NOTE: The name must be unique. The name can contain only letters, digits, and underscores (_). The name contains 1 to 255 characters.
   Automatic Update of Atime	Indicates whether to enable the function of automatically updating the Atime. Atime indicates the file system access time. After this function is enabled, the system automatically updates the time when data in the file system is accessed. NOTE: Enabling Automatic Update of Atime compromises the system performance.
   Update Frequency	Indicates the Atime update frequency. The value can be Hourly or Daily.

4. Click OK.
5. Confirm your operation as prompted.
