Configuring and Managing Remote Replication

This section describes how to configure and manage remote replication.

• Configuring Remote Replication
  Synchronous remote replication ensures data consistency between the primary resource and secondary resource of each remote replication pair. Asynchronous remote replication quickly responds to service requests of hosts and implements long-distance disaster recovery. Before configuring remote replication, you must understand the whole configuration process. Then, configure parameters related to remote replication.
• Managing Remote Replication Pairs
  This section describes operations related to remote replication management, including viewing, synchronizing, splitting, modifying, and deleting a remote replication pair, as well as enabling/disabling write protection of secondary resources and performing a primary/secondary switchover for a remote replication pair.
• Managing Remote Replication Consistency Groups
  After a consistency group is created, you can manage it for service adjustment, data security, DR, and data test.
