This operation enables you to locate a disk. The indicator of the located disk is on.
Prerequisites
- A disk supports the location indicator function and its Location Indicator Status is Disabled.
- The location indicator function is only supported by a storage system whose RAID controller card type is SAS3008, SAS3180, SAS3408, SAS3416, SAS3508, or SAS2208.
Procedure
- Choose .
- Click
to go to the list view and click the Disks tab. - Select one or more desired disks and click Locate Disk.
You can also click More on the right of a desired disk and select Locate Disk.
