This section describes how to connect a cold storage device to the system to store cold data in the device.
Adding a Cold Storage Device
This operation enables you to add a cold storage device. After setting the access information and service information, connects a cold storage device to the system so that the system can write data to and read data from the device.
Modifying Access Information
When the management IP address, user name, or password of the cold storage device is changed, modify the access information of the cold storage device on DeviceManager according to this section.
Modifying Service Information
When the service information of the cold storage device is changed, synchronize the changes on DeviceManager according to this section.
Deleting a Cold Storage Device
This operation enables you to delete the cold storage device when it is no longer needed.
