Managing File Service Settings

This chapter describes how to manage configurations of the file service. You can manage configurations of the file service only after a license for the file service is imported.

• Configuring the NFS Service
  Before configuring NFS shares, you need to enable the NFS service.
• Configuring an External DNS Server
  After a storage system is connected to a DNS server, you can access the storage system through the server IP address. This operation enables you to configure the IP addresses of the active and standby DNS servers for the file service.
• Configuring Domain Authentication
  This section describes how to configure AD domain authentication, LDAP domain authentication, and NIS domain authentication.
