Monitoring System Performance

Procedure

1. Choose Monitor > Performance Monitoring.
2. Create a chart.
   1. In the Chart area, click Create, and select Block Performance Monitoring or Object Performance Monitoring from the drop-down list as required.

      The Create Chart page is displayed on the right, as shown in .

   2. Set Chart Name.
      

      • The name contains 1 to 31 characters.
      • The name can contain only letters, digits, underscores (_), hyphens (-), and periods (.).
   3. In Time Period, select a monitoring time range.
   4. In Object Type, select the type of the objects that you want to monitor.
   5. In Object Instance, you can add object instances to be monitored.
      1. Click Add.
      2. Select the object instances to be monitored.
      3. Click OK.
      

      • You do not need to add object instances when Object Type is set to Cluster.
   6. In Statistical Metric, select the desired metrics.
      

      You can click More to expand more metrics.

   7. Click OK.

3. View a chart.

   In the Charts area, select the charts you want to view. The chart details are displayed in the right pane.

4. Modify a chart.
   1. In the Charts area, select the chart that you want to modify.
   2. Click .
   3. The Modify Chart page is displayed on the right. Modify the parameters of the chart as required, as shown in .
   4. Click OK.

5. Delete a chart.
   1. In the Charts area, select the chart that you want to delete.
   2. Click .
   3. Confirm your operation as prompted.
