Adding an Object

Procedure

1. Choose Services > Block Service > QoS Policy.
2. Select a QoS policy, click on the right, and select Add Object.

   The Add Object page is displayed.

3. Select an object type. Possible options are Volume, Snapshot, and Storage Pool.
   • Volume
     1. Select the storage pool to which desired volumes belong.
     2. In Available Volumes, select one or more volumes and click to add them to Selected Volumes.
   • Snapshot
     1. Select the storage pool to which desired snapshots belong.
     2. In Available Snapshots, select one or more snapshots and click to add them to Selected Snapshots.
   • Storage Pool

     In Available Storage Pools, select one or more storage pools and click to add them to Selected Storage Pools.

     

     If different QoS policies are configured for a volume and its owning storage pool, the QoS policy configured for the volume takes effect.

4. Click OK.
5. Confirm your operation as prompted.
