Modifying a Placement Policy

This operation enables you to modify a placement policy.

Procedure

  1. Choose Services > HDFS Service > Tiering.
  2. Click the Placement Policy tab.
  3. Select the desired file system, click More on the right of the desired placement policy, and select Modify.

    The Modify Placement Policy page is displayed.

  4. Set the tier grade of the placement policy. That is, the tier grade of the disk pool to which data is written. A disk pool's tier grade is specified during disk pool creation.
  5. Click OK.
