Setting Tiering Parameters

This operation enables you to set the default tiering policy for a file that has not been set with a specific tiering policy.

Procedure

  1. Choose Services > HDFS Service > Tiering.
  2. Click Set Parameter.

    The Set Parameter page is displayed.

  3. Set Default Placement Policy Tier Grade. Files that are not set with a tiering policy will be placed to the disk pool at the specified default placement policy tier grade.
  4. Click OK.
