Volumes are logical disks accessible to application servers. They are allocated by controllers to enable the application servers to make full use of storage resources.
Mapping a Volume
This operation enables you to map a volume to hosts, host groups, or VBSs.
Unmapping a Volume
This operation enables you to unmap volumes from hosts, host groups, or VBSs.
Creating a Snapshot
This operation enables you to create a snapshot for a volume to generate a copy of source volume data. You can read and write this copy without changing the source data.
Creating a Clone
This operation enables you to create a clone for a source volume or snapshot volume. After a clone is created, you can perform operations on the clone volume for multiple times without changing data in the source volume or snapshot volume.
Reactivating a Clone
This operation enables you to specify another snapshot volume as the source volume of a clone to reactivate the clone.
Expanding a Volume
This operation enables you to expand the capacity of a volume to meet service requirements.
