Mapping a Volume

This operation enables you to map a volume to hosts, host groups, or VBSs.

Procedure

  1. Choose Services > Block Service > Volume.
  2. Select the volume for which you want to create a mapping and click Map.

    The Map page is displayed.

    Alternatively, you can click More on the right of a volume and choose Map to create a mapping.

  3. Select Host, Host Group, or VBS as required. In Available Hosts, Available Host Groups, or Available VBSs, select one or more objects and click to add them to the Selected Hosts, Selected Host Groups, or Selected VBSs area.
  4. Click OK.
  5. Confirm your operation as prompted.
