Viewing Volume Information

This operation enables you to view information about volumes.

Procedure

  1. Choose Services > Block Service > Volume.
  2. In the volume list, view information about volumes. Table 1 describes related parameters.

    Parameter

    Description

    ID

    Indicates the ID of a volume.

    Name

    Indicates the name of a volume.

    Health Status

    Indicates the health status of a volume.

    Running Status

    Indicates the running status of a volume.

    Used/Total Capacity

    Indicates the total capacity, used capacity, and capacity utilization of a volume.

    Protection Capacity

    Indicates the data protection capacity of a volume.

    WWN

    Indicates the world wide name (WWN) of a volume.

    Created

    Indicates the time when a volume was created.

    Mapped

    Indicates whether a volume is mapped to a host.

    Clone Volume

    Indicates whether a volume is a clone volume.

    Source Snapshot Name

    Indicates the name of the source snapshot of the clone volume.

    Source Volume Name

    Indicates the name of the source volume of the clone volume.

    Owning Storage Pool

    Indicates the storage pool to which a volume belongs.

    Performance Monitoring

    Indicates whether the performance monitoring of a volume is enabled.

    • You can click a volume name to view its mapping and snapshot information.
    • Select the volume whose performance you want to monitor. Click Enable Performance Monitoring and choose Monitor > Performance Monitoring to view the performance information of the volume.
    • Click the volume whose performance monitoring you want to disable. Click Disable Performance Monitoring to stop the performance monitoring of the volume.
