To remove the side cover from the model

, follow these steps:
Unlock the security lock

if it is locked, as shown in the following figure.
Press down on the latch

to open the cover and pull it away from the system unit.
Lift the panel out of the ledge on the bottom of the system unit.

Insert the bottom lip of the cover into the ledge on the bottom of the system unit.
Rotate the panel up

until the latch snaps into place
