Granting remote access for a PC with Windows 2000

This topic provides instructions for granting remote access in Windows® 2000.

To grant remote access using the Windows 2000 Incoming Connections:
  1. Click Start > Settings > Control Panel.
  2. Double-click Network and Dial-up Connections.
  3. Double-click Incoming Connections.
    Note: If Incoming Connections does not exist, you must install it. For more information, see Creating and configuring incoming connections for a PC with Windows 2000.
  4. Click the Users tab.
  5. In the Users allowed to connect field, select the check box next to the user ID that you want to grant remote access.
