Tracking your progress through the console service functions (65+21)

You can track your progress through the console service functions using the Hardware Management Console (HMC) or the system reference code A6nn500x if you are using the control panel.

Tracking your progress using an HMC

In the navigation area, expand the managed system that you want to work with.
Expand Server and Partition.
Click Server Management.
In the contents area, expand or select your system or logical partition. View the tracking information in the Operator Panel Value column.

Tracking your progress using the control panel or remote control panel

If you are using the control panel or remote control panel to perform console service functions (65+21), the control panels respond to your commands with system reference codes (SRCs). In some cases, you might have to manually retrieve the resulting SRC code by performing a function 11. Refer to the following tables to track your progress.

B	You are in edit mode.
C	You submitted an action successfully.
D	You exceeded 45 seconds between entering function 65 and 21, or between entering succeeding function 21s. You are no longer in edit mode. To perform an action, you must start over. The system resets in approximately three minutes.
