FSPSP42
An error communicating between two system processors was detected.
Refer toLocating FRUs for instructions
for removing and replacing any FRUs called out by the following procedure.
If
you were unable to correct the problem by replacing FRUs that were previously
specified before coming to this procedure, consider the possibility of failing
system backplanes.
- Use the location codes for the FRUs that were previously specified
to determine if the system processors are on separate nodes. Are the system
processors on separate nodes?
- No: Continue with step 2.
- Yes: Do the following:
- Power off the system (see Powering on and powering off).
- Replace the SMP cables between the two enclosures.
- Perform a slow boot.
- Is the problem resolved?
- Yes: This ends the procedure.
- No: Continue with the next step.
-
Power off the system.
- Replace the bad node backplane.
- Perform a slow boot. This ends the procedure.
