A diagnostic function detects an external processor interface problem. If replacing the FRUs previously listed in the FRU list do not fix the problem, perform the following:

  1. Power off the system (see Powering on and powering off).
  2. Replace the SMP cable (P2-Cx-T1 or P2-Cx-T2) that attaches the two nodes that were called out before this procedure. Refer to Locating FRUs for instructions.
  3. Perform a slow boot.
