A connection between an HMC and a service processor
has been lost. The location code will identify the unit to which contact was
lost.
- Is the system receiving power?
- No: Take the necessary action to restore power to the system. This
ends the procedure.
- Yes: Continue with the next step.
- Verify the network connection
between the service processor and the HMC. See the table below for location
information.

Does the problem persist?
- No: This ends the procedure.
- Yes: Continue with the next step.
- Shut down the operating system for the server in preparation to
reboot the server. Reapply the power and boot the server.

- Use SVCPROC to replace the service processor. If the problem persists, contact your next level of support.
