Upgrading the system PDF

This publication provides instructions for system programmers who are upgrading the 8204-E8A (IBM Power 550 Express™). This publication includes instructions for upgrading existing models to the 8204-E8A, and instructions about how to upgrade certain hardware features. This publication also provides links to information about how to upgrade the AIX and Linux operating systems on this model.

Saving PDF files

Large PDF files can be difficult to open online. For best results, save the PDF to your local drive for viewing or printing. Follow these steps:

  1. Right-click the PDF link in your browser.
  2. Click the option that saves the PDF locally.
  3. Navigate to the directory in which you want to save the PDF.
  4. Click Save.
