Refer to System FRU locations for instructions for removing and replacing any FRUs called out by the following procedure.

For 8203-E4A, 9407-M15, 9408-M25, 8204-E8A, and 9409-M50 perform the following.

1. Power off the system. See Powering on and powering off the system .
2. Replace the system backplane (Un-P1).
3. Perform a slow boot. See Performing a slow boot . This ends the procedure.

For 8234-EMA, 9117-MMA, 9406-MMA, and 9125-F2A perform the following.

1. Power off the system. See Powering on and powering off the system .
2. Replace the service processor.
3. Perform a slow boot. See Performing a slow boot .
4. Does the problem persist?

   No:

   This ends the procedure.

   Yes:

   Continue with the next step.

5. Perform the following for each system processor until the problem is resolved:
   1. Power off the system.
   2. Replace one of the system processors.
   3. Perform a slow boot after replacing each processor. See Performing a slow boot .

   This ends the procedure.

For 9119-FHA perform the following.

1. Power off the system. See Powering on and powering off the system .
2. Replace the CEC FSP cards, one at a time.
3. Perform a slow boot. See Performing a slow boot .
4. Does the problem persist?

   No:

   This ends the procedure.

   Yes:

   Continue with the next step.

5. Perform the following for each system processor until the problem is resolved:
   1. Power off the system.
   2. Replace each MCM, one at a time.
   3. Perform a slow boot after replacing each processor. See Performing a slow boot .

   This ends the procedure.
