8203-E4A, 9407-M15, and 9408-M25

Perform the following task:
  1. Replace the system backplane (Un-P1) See System FRU locations for information on locating the FRU.
  2. Perform a slow boot. Refer to Performing a slow boot .

8204-E8A and 9409-M50

Perform the following task:
  1. Replace the processor cards one at a time (Un-P1-C13 or Un-P1-C14 or Un-P1-C15 or Un-P1-C16). See System FRU locations for information on locating the FRU.
  2. Perform a slow boot. Refer to Performing a slow boot . Does the problem persist?
    No:
    This ends the procedure.
    Yes:
    Continue with the next step.
  3. Have all processor cards been replaced?
    No:
    Go back to step 1 and replace a different processor card.
    Yes:
    Continue with the next step.
  4. Replace the system backplane (Un-P1)
  5. Perform a slow boot. Refer to Performing a slow boot . This ends the procedure.

8234-EMA, 9117-MMA, and 9406-MMA

Perform the following task:
  1. Replace the Flex System Cable (location P1-C11-T5) that connects the FRUs listed in the FRU list. See System FRU locations for information on locating the FRU.
  2. Perform a slow boot. Refer to Performing a slow boot .

9125-F2A

Perform the following task:
  1. Was the FRU called out before this procedure a Memory DIMM (Un-P2-Cx, where x = 1 - 64) or GX Adapter card (Un-P2-C65 or Un-P2-C66)?
    No:
    Go to step 7.
    Yes:
    Continue to the next step.
  2. Replace the I/O Backplane (Un-P1).
  3. Perform a slow boot. Refer to Performing a slow boot .
  4. Does the problem persist?
    No:
    This ends the procedure.
    Yes:
    Continue to the next step.
  5. Replace the processor backplane (Un-P2).
  6. Perform a slow boot. Performing a slow boot . This ends the procedure.
  7. Was the FRU called out before this procedure a processor (Un-P2-Cx, where x = 67 - 82) or processor backplane (Un-P2)?
    No:
    This ends the procedure.
    Yes:
    Continue to the next step.
  8. Replace the I/O backplane (Un-P1).
  9. Perform a slow boot. See Performing a slow boot .

9119-FHA

Perform the following task:
  1. Was the FRU called out before this procedure a Memory DIMM(Un-Pm-Cx, where m = 2 - 9 and x = 1 - 36), a Processor (Un-Pm-Cx, where m = 2 - 9 and x = 25 - 28), or GX Adapter Card (Un-Pm-Cx, where m = 2 - 9 and x = 37 - 40?
    No:
    This ends the procedure.
    Yes:
    Continue to the next step.
  2. Replace both Node FSP Cards (Un-Pm-C41 and Un-Pm-C42, where m = 2 - 9) from the same Node as the Memory DIMM, Processor, or GX Adapter Card.
  3. Perform a slow boot. See Performing a slow boot .
  4. Does the problem persist?
    No:
    This ends the procedure.
    Yes:
    Continue to the next step.
  5. Replace the Processor Book (Un-Pm, where m = 2 - 9) the Memory DIMM, Processor, or GX Adapter Card plugged into.
  6. Perform a slow boot. See Performing a slow boot . This ends the procedure.
