FSPSP50

A diagnostic function detects a connection problem between a processor chip and a GX chip. If replacing the FRUs previously listed in the FRU list does not fix the problem, perform the following:

  1. Power off the system. See Powering on and powering off the system .
  2. Use the following table to determine the action to perform.
    System: Action:
8203-E4A, 9407-M15, and 9408-M25 Replace the system backplane (Un-P1). Refer to System FRU locations for information on locating the system backplane.
8204-E8A and 9409-M50 Replace the system backplane (Un-P1). Refer to System FRU locations for information on locating the system backplane.
8234-EMA, 9117-MMA, and 9406-MMA Replace the mid-plane backplane (Un-P1). Refer to System FRU locations for information on locating the regulator distribution backplane.
9125-F2A Replace the mid-plane backplane (Un-P1). Refer to System FRU locations for information on locating the regulator distribution backplane.
9119-FHA Replace the processor book (Un-Pm, where m = 2-9) for the failing FRU.
  3. Perform a slow boot. See Performing a slow boot . This ends the procedure.
