This option indicates whether the virtual SCSI adapter is required for partition activation. If this option is selected, then you can activate the logical partition only if the virtual SCSI adapter can be used for the logical partition. Also, you cannot remove the virtual SCSI adapter from the logical partition using dynamic logical partitioning if the virtual SCSI adapter is required.
