Back up HMC Data - Select media

Use this panel to select the type of local media to store the HMC archive file to. Either a UDF-formatted DVD-RAM or (vfat formatted) USB flash memory device can be used to store this data. Choose the output media and click OK to begin the HMC backup operation.

Notes:

1. The time required to offload the HMC archive file is considerably faster when selecting a USB flash memory device.
2. If any HMC corrective service has been installed to this HMC, the resulting backup archive size can grow considerably, generally greater than 1GB.
