Use this panel to select the type of remote server. You may choose from:
FTP
If you choose FTP, the following fields will be displayed. Use these fields to enter information about the remote FTP server where the HMC service packages are located. Once you are connected to the remote server, a list of recognized filetypes containing potential HMC service packages will be displayed. Ensure the userId specified to access the ftp server has sufficient permission to access the service files.
Remote Server: This is either the name or IP addresss of the remote FTP server where the HMC corrective service files are located.
User ID: This is the user id required for accessing the remote FTP server.
Password: This is the password associated with user id entered in the previous field.
Remote Directory (optional): This field is a directory offset from the home directory of the user Id entered above. It is an optional field.
Use Secure File Transfer: Check the box to specify secure FTP (sftp) protocol. Service will be downloaded using sftp. This is optional.
