Shared: Auto

The HMC automatically allocates I/O entitled memory when the logical partition is activated, however you can dynamically adjust this value.

To dynamically change the value for the I/O entitled memory, you must clear the Auto check box and then you can specify a value for the I/O entitled memory.

Re-activating the shared memory partition returns the I/O entitled memory mode to the auto mode. You can also return the I/O entitled memory mode to the auto mode by selecting the Auto check box.
