This area lists the I/O slots that currently belong to the logical partition. The list is ordered by unit, bus, and slot.
The list displays a description of the I/O adapter that is in each I/O slot. If the I/O device is an I/O processor (IOP), this description is either PCI I/O Processor or I/O Processor.
If the I/O slot is empty, this description is Empty slot.
Otherwise, the system uses the first description it finds in the following hierarchy.
The managed system updates the description only when the physical I/O device belongs to a running logical partition. This information might not be up to date if you remove the physical I/O device from the running logical partition or shut down the logical partition to which the physical I/O device belongs.
