SCSI

Shows the following information about the virtual small computer system interface (SCSI) adapters associated with this partition:

Slot ID

Shows the virtual slot ID of the virtual SCSI adapter. This value is a number from 2 to 65 535.

Type

Indicates whether the virtual SCSI adapter is a client device or a server device.

Remote Partition ID

If the virtual adapter is a client SCSI adapter, this field shows the partition ID for the server adapter to which this client adapter connects. This field is required for client SCSI adapters.

If the virtual adapter is a server SCSI adapter, this field shows the partition ID for the only client adapter that is allowed to connect to this server adapter. This field is optional for server adapters, unless a value is specified for Remote Slot ID. If both the Remote Slot ID and Remote Partition ID fields are blank for a server adapter, any appropriate client adapter can connect to this server adapter.

Remote Slot ID

If the virtual adapter is a client SCSI adapter, this field shows the ID of the slot for the server adapter to which this client adapter connects. This field is required for client SCSI adapters.

If the virtual adapter is a server SCSI adapter, this field shows the slot ID for the only client adapter that is allowed to connect to this server adapter. This field is optional for server adapters, unless a value is specified for Remote Partition ID. If both the Remote Slot ID and Remote Partition ID fields are blank for a server adapter, any appropriate client adapter can connect to this server adapter.
