Specify the minimum number of virtual processors that the logical partition must have when you activate the logical partition that is associated with this partition profile. You cannot dynamically change the virtual processor amount for this logical partition to be lower than this number. You can change the virtual processor amount to a lower number only by changing this value in the partition profile properties and reactivating the logical partition associated with this profile.
The default minimum number of virtual processors is the minimum number of processing units rounded up to the next whole number. For example, if the minimum number of processing units is 1.26, the default minimum number of virtual processors is 2.
This number can be any whole number from the minimum number of processing units (rounded up to the next whole number) to the desired number of virtual processors.
