Displays the minimum amount of huge page memory for this partition profile. The number of pages of huge page memory are specified for three memory levels: the minimum memory, the desired memory, and the maximum memory.
When you activate the logical partition that is associated with this partition profile, the system commits a huge page memory amount to the logical partition. The number of pages of huge page memory that the system commits to the logical partition depends upon the settings on this page and the availability of system resources.
The Minimum memory field specifies the minimum number of pages of huge page memory that the logical partition must have when you activate this partition profile. If the managed system does not have at least this number of pages of huge page memory available when you activate this partition profile, then the managed system does not activate the logical partition. You can commit less huge page memory to the logical partition only by changing this value and reactivating the partition profile.
