Profile name

The name of the partition profile whose properties are displayed here. You can edit the profile name.

Each partition profile must have a profile name that is unique within the logical partition.

You can use up to 31 characters for the partition profile name. The partition profile name can consist of uppercase letters (A through Z), lowercase letters (a through z), numerals (0 through 9), spaces, and the following special characters: comma (,), period (.), slash (/), semicolon (;), colon (:), tilde (~), at (@), pound (#), caret (^), hyphen (-), underscore (_), equals (=), plus (+), left brace ({), and right brace (}). Characters with diacritical marks are not allowed.

Any change you make on this page takes effect only after you shut down the logical partition and reactivate the logical partition that is associated with this partition profile.
