Indicates the sharing mode for the logical partition that is associated with this partition profile. If the option is selected, the logical partition uses uncapped mode. If the option is not selected, the logical partition uses capped mode.
The sharing mode determines whether the logical partition uses idle processing units that are not committed to the logical partition. (The managed system commits processing units to the logical partition when you activate the logical partition or move processing units dynamically to or from the logical partition.)
Any change you make on this page takes effect only after you shut down the logical partition and reactivate this partition profile.
