The percentage of the total 5250 Commercial Processing Workload (CPW) on the managed system that you want the logical partition to use when you activate the logical partition that is associated with this partition profile. If the server has at least the desired percentage of its total 5250 CPW available when you activate the logical partition associated with this partition profile, then the server commits the desired percentage of 5250 CPW to the logical partition. If the desired percentage is not available, but at least the minimum percentage is available, then the managed system activates the logical partition with the percentage of 5250 CPW it has.
Any change you make on this page takes effect only after you shut down the logical partition and reactivate the logical partition that is associated with this partition profile.
