This table displays information about each GX+ adapter slot in the managed system. The information displayed here includes the following:
- Location Code
- This column displays the location code that describes the location of each GX+ adapter slot in your managed system.
- Slot Status
- This column displays whether the GX+ adapter slot contains a GX+ adapter. Possible values include Empty or Occupied.
- Adapter
- This column displays the type of adapter currently found in the indicated GX+ adapter slot (if any). Possible values include No Adapter (there is no GX+ adapter in the slot) and RIO Adapter (there is a RIO adapter in the slot).
- Reservation Adapter Status
- This column displays whether memory is reserved for each GX+ adapter slot. Possible values include Not Reserved (there is no reserved memory for the adapter), Reserved (there is reserved memory for the adapter), and Reservation Pending (you have set the system to reserve memory for the adapter, but the change does not take effect until you power off the entire managed system and power on the managed system again).
- Reservation Adapter
- This column displays whether contiguous memory is reserved for each GX+ adapter slot. Possible values include Reserve or Unreserve. If memory is not reserved for a GX+ adapter slot, you can select the option corresponding to that GX+ adapter slot to reserve memory for that GX+ adapter slot. If memory is reserved for a GX+ adapter slot, you can clear the option in this column to release the reserved memory for use by the system. Memory reservation changes take effect only when you power off the entire managed system and power on the managed system again.
