Trial CoD Processor Code Information

This window displays the information that the Capacity on Demand (CoD) administrator must use to generate an activation code for this managed system. This information uniquely identifies the system unit and the anchor card for this managed system. The anchor card is also known as the system Vital Product Data (VPD) card. This information also identifies the type of activation that you want to perform and the current activation state of the managed system.

The activation code that is generated by the CoD administrator is valid only as long as this information remains the same. For example, if you replace the system VPD card that is used in the managed system, you must acquire new activation codes for the managed system.

Use this window to review the information for the managed system before you send the information to the CoD administrator. You can copy this information manually, or you can click Save to save this information to a file. You can send the file to a remote location using FTP, or you can save the file to a USB flash memory device that is mounted on your Hardware Management Console.
