This field indicates whether On/Off Capacity on Demand (CoD) for memory is currently available on your managed system. Possible values are:
Available
You can activate one or more of your inactive memory units for a specified number of days using On/Off CoD.
Running
An On/Off CoD memory request is currently active on your managed system.
Unreturned
You have previously activated On/Off CoD memory, but the request period has expired and you have not made all the memory available to be reclaimed by the managed system. Unreturned memory days are recorded at the beginning of each 24-hour period. You will be charged for these unreturned memory days at the end of the On/Off CoD billing cycle. To make the memory available to be reclaimed by the managed system, you need to remove the memory units from the partition to which they are assigned. In some cases, you might want to delete the specific partition to which the memory units were assigned.
Code Not Entered
On/Off CoD for memory is not enabled on your managed system. You must obtain and enter an On/Off memory enablement code before you can activate any memory units using On/Off CoD.
Not available
An On/Off memory enablement code has been entered on your managed system and memory days are available. However, because one or more of the following conditions exist, you cannot activate any inactive memory units using On/Off CoD at this time:
- No inactive memory units are available on the managed system.
- Trial CoD is currently running on the managed system.
Not Capable
On/Off CoD for memory is not supported on the managed system.
