Enable processor minute usage limit

Select this option to set a Utility CoD processor minute usage limit for the managed system. To disable the processor minute usage limit, clear this option.

When you select this option and enter a number of processor minutes into New limit, the managed system starts monitoring the number of processor minutes that it uses from the time that you set the processor minute usage limit. When the managed system reaches the processor minute usage limit, the managed system removes all Utility CoD processors from the default shared processor pool. Utility CoD is still enabled on the managed system after the managed system reaches the processor minute usage limit.

Once set, a processor minute usage limit remains in effect until the processor minute usage limit is reset or disabled. You can reset the processor minute usage limit by accessing this window and entering a different processor minute usage limit into New limit. Resetting the processor minute usage limit also resets the counter used by the managed system to count processor minutes. For example, a managed system has a processor minute usage limit of 9000, and the managed system has used 8000 processor minutes since the processor minute usage limit was set. The managed system therefore has 1000 processor minutes left to use until it reaches its usage limit. If you access this window and enter 8500 into New limit, the managed system resets the usage limit. The managed system therefore has 8500 processor minutes to use before it reaches its new usage limit.

Setting a Utility CoD processor minute usage limit for your managed system is optional.
