Recover Partition Data

The logical partition profile data in the following managed system appears to have been cleared or corrupted.

The Hardware Management Console (HMC) automatically backs up the profile data every time it connects to the managed system. You can use this backup data to restore your managed systems profile data. If your profile data appears corrupted, first try to restore your data from the HMC backup file using the Restore profile data from HMC backup data option. If that option does not succeed, try to recover the backup data from another HMC that is also connected to this managed system. Otherwise, use the Initialize the managed system option. This option will fix the corrupted data area in the service processor. You will then have to recreate your partition and profile data.

You must be in partition standby mode to recover partition data.
