Use this window to power on and power off an I/O unit or PCI slot or to display the service effect (concurrent maintenance) status of a processor node or drawer. The location codes listed can represent a node, a processor drawer, an entire I/O enclosure or a single PCI slot.
Select a System I/O Resource from the list of system I/O resources and click Power On to activate or Power Off to deactivate the selected I/O unit or PCI slot. A confirmation window will display.
Select a processor node or drawer location code to use the Display Service Effect option on the Advanced screen.
Click Advanced... to work with service locks, set the activation level of the resources on the selected system or to display the service effect on a node/drawer.
Caution: The Advanced... options should only be used by a qualified service representative to prevent system failures or loss of system functions.
