The information displayed here allows you to see the memory utilization of a selected partition at a selected date and time.
The following information is displayed:
Partition (ID): Displays the partition name and ID.
Memory mode: Displays whether the logical partition is using dedicated or shared memory.
Logical memory (GB): Displays the amount of memory (in gigabytes) assigned to the partition. For partitions that use shared memory, this is the amount of logical memory assigned to the partition.
Physical memory (GB): Displays the amount of physical memory (in gigabytes) allocated to the partition at the indicated date and time.
Memory overcommitment (GB): For partitions that use shared memory, this field displays the difference between the logical memory assigned to the partition and the physical memory allocated to the partition (in gigabytes) at the indicated date and time. This is a dynamic value in a running partition; however, it typically settles to a relatively steady state value.
Memory overcommitment (percent): Displays the memory overcommitment expressed as a percentage of the physical memory for the partition.
I/O entitled memory (GB): Displays the amount of I/O entitled memory (in gigabytes) assigned to the partition. This value is displayed only for partitions that use shared memory.
Mapped I/O entitled memory (GB): Displays the amount of I/O entitled memory (in gigabytes) mapped by the partition at the indicated date and time. This value is only displayed for partitions that use shared memory.
Overage cooperation (GB): Displays the difference between the assigned memory overcommitment for the partition and the actual overcommitment (in gigabytes) for the partition at the indicated date and time. A positive value means the partition is using less memory than the Hypervisor has requested it to use. The assigned memory overcommitment for a partition is a value computed by the Hypervisor, based on several factors including memory weight, which is used to account for the overall shared memory pool overcommitment. In a running partition this is a dynamic value; however, it typically settles to a relatively steady state value. This value is displayed only for partitions that use shared memory.
Overage cooperation (percent): Displays the overage cooperation expressed as a percentage of the partition's logical memory. This value is displayed only for partitions that use shared memory.
Memory weight: Displays the runtime memory weight for the partition. This value is displayed only for partitions that use shared memory.
