System plan name
Specify a file name for the new system plan that you are creating. A system plan is stored in a file that is called a system-plan file which has a file suffix of .sysplan. The system plan file name that you specify must have a suffix of .sysplan.
You must specify a unique file name. Additionally, the following restrictions apply to system plan file names:
- File names must be unique. If you specify a file name that already exists on the system, the Hardware Management Console (HMC) does not overwrite the specified file. Instead, the HMC prompts you to specify a different, unique file name.
- File names can contain only upper or lower case alphanumeric characters and the following special characters: space ( ), period (.), comma (,), hyphen (-), and underscore (_).
- File names cannot begin with a period (.) or with a hyphen (-).
- File names must end with a suffix of .sysplan. If you do not specify .sysplan as the suffix of the file name, the HMC adds the suffix for you.
