Sub-directory on media

Specify the location of the media device to which you want to export the specified system plan. Rather than provide a fully qualified directory location and file name in this field, you must specify the subdirectory location only. For example, you want to export a system-plan file named new_plan that to a CD-ROM and you want to export it to the following subdirectory: HMC1/sysplan_files. The fully qualified directory location and file name for exporting the file is /media/cdrom/HMC1/sysplan_files/new_plan.sysplan. To correctly identify the Sub-directory on media for this file, specify HMC1/sysplan_files only.

To select the device from a list, complete these steps:

1. Select Export to media.
2. If the file is to be exported to a subdirectory on the media, specify the subdirectory location of the file in the Sub-directory on media field.
3. Click Export to display the Select Media Device page.
4. Select the media device to which you want to export the system-plan file. The list of media devices contains those writable devices that are currently available on the system.
5. Click OK to complete the selection and return to the Export System Plan page. The media device that you selected now appears in the Sub-directory on media field.
