Use this procedure to remove and replace a disk drive nonconcurrently. |

The component will not be serviced concurrently. If this system is powered on, power it off before continuing. If possible, shut down any running applications and the operating system before powering off the system. Once the system is powered off, remove all power cords from all of the processor enclosures starting with the primary processor enclosure (topmost) and then each secondary enclosure working from top to bottom. |

Note to Tower Users: The instructions in this
procedure are written based on the rack model. Tower users may still use
this procedure. However, tower users should ignore specific
references to rack-only features such as rack doors, rack thumbscrews, etc.

If you removed the power cords, reinstall the power cords for all of the processor enclosures. |
