Refer to Locating FRUs for instructions for removing and replacing any FRUs called out by the following procedure.

1. Is the reference code 1xxx 8450?
   • No: Continue with the next step.
   • Yes: At least one processor VRM is missing. Inspect all of the processor cards and install the VRM(s) that is(are) missing (see Physical Locations). This ends the procedure.
2. Is the reference code 1xxx 2630?
   • No: Continue with the next step.
   • Yes: Replace VRM1A and VRM1B (which are one CRU/FRU) on processor 1 (Un-P1-C13) (see Physical Locations). This ends the procedure.
3. Is the reference code 1xxx 2632?
   • No: Continue with the next step.
   • Yes: Replace VRM2 on processor 1 (Un-P1-C18) (see Physical Locations). This ends the procedure.
4. Is the reference code 1xxx 2633?
   • No Continue with the next step.
   • Yes: Replace the following, one at a time:
   1. System backplane (Un-P1)
   2. Ethernet card (Un-P1-C7)
   This ends the procedure.
5. Is the reference code 1xxx 2634?
   • No: Continue with the next step.
   • Yes: Replace the system backplane (Un-P1). This ends the procedure.
6. Is the reference code 1xxx 2640?
   • No: Continue with the next step.
   • Yes: Replace VRM1A and VRM1B (which are one CRU/FRU) on processor 2 (Un-P1-C14). This ends the procedure.
7. Is the reference code 1xxx 2642?
   • No: Continue with the next step.
   • Yes: Replace VRM2 on processor 2 (Un-P1-C20). This ends the procedure.
8. Is the reference code 1xxx 2643?
   • No: Continue with the next step.
   • Yes: Replace the following, one at a time:
   1. System backplane (Un-P1)
   2. Ethernet card (Un-P1-C7)
9. Is the reference code 1xxx 2644?
   • No: Continue with the next step.
   • Yes: Replace the system backplane (Un-P1). This ends the procedure.
10. Is the reference code 1xxx 2622?
    • No: Continue with the next step.
    • Yes: Replace the following, if present, one at a time:
    1. Base RAID card (Un-P1-C10)
    2. Auxiliary RAID card (Un-P1-C9)
    3. System backplane (Un-P1)
    This ends the procedure.
11. Is the reference code 1xxx 2623?
    • No: Continue with the next step.
    • Yes: Replace the following, if present, one at a time:
    1. Base RAID card (Un-P1-C10)
    2. Auxiliary RAID card (Un-P1-C9)
    This ends the procedure.
12. Is the reference code 1xxx 2624?
    • No: Continue with the next step.
    • Yes: Replace the following, if present, one at a time:
    1. Ethernet card (Un-P1-C7)
    2. Base RAID card (Un-P1-C10)
    3. Auxiliary RAID card (Un-P1-C9)
    4. System backplane (Un-P1)
    5. DASD drives
    6. DASD and media backplane (Un-P2)
    This ends the procedure.
13. Is the reference code 1xxx 2625?
    • No: Continue with the next step.
    • Yes: Replace the following, if present, one at a time:
    1. Ethernet card (Un-P1-C7)
    2. Base RAID card (Un-P1-C10)
    3. Auxiliary RAID card (Un-P1-C9)
    4. System backplane (Un-P1)
    5. TPMD card (Un-P1-C12)
    This ends the procedure.
14. Is the reference code 1xxx 2626?
    • No: Continue with the next step.
    • Yes: Replace the following, if present:
    1. Ethernet card (Un-P1-C7)
    This ends the procedure.
15. Is the reference code 1xxx 3120?
    • No: This ends the procedure. Return to the procedure that sent you here if the problem is not resolved.
    • Yes: Replace the following, if present:
    1. The VRM specified by the location code.
    2. The processor card specified by the location code.
