The Attention LED icon indicates whether the Attention LED for the managed system or logical partition is on.
The attention LED is activated whenever server firmware or logical partitions detect an event that is logged as a service action and serves as a visual prompt to check the serviceable event logs. The service action might be correctable by the system administrator, or it might require involvement of a service provider to perform problem determination or exchange parts.
If you configure electronic reporting, the diagnostics in the server firmware and in the operating systems can automatically send electronic problem reports to service and support for events that require service.
To monitor, troubleshoot, and correct an event that is logged as a service action, click Service Management in the contents pane and click Manage Serviceable Events in the task pane. You can then specify the serviceable events that you want to review.
