Select the logical partition that is to be the promiscuous logical partition for this physical port. If the physical port receives a unicast packet, and the Media Access Control (MAC) address on that packet does not match the MAC address of any of the valid logical ports for that physical port, the physical port forwards the packet to the promiscuous logical partition.
To be the promiscuous logical partition for a physical port, the partition must own a logical port on that physical port.
