Trunk priority

Specify the trunk adapter priority for the trunk adapter. This value indicates the order in which this trunk adapter will be activated if you create redundant trunk adapters for virtual trunk adapter failover capability. The managed system activates and uses the trunk adapter with the lowest priority number for a given set of virtual LANs. If the trunk adapter with the lowest priority number fails or cannot be activated, the managed system activates and uses the trunk adapter with the next higher priority number.

Possible values are 1 (high priority) to 15 (low priority). The default value is 1.

A virtual LAN can have only one active trunk adapter at a time. You can create only one trunk adapter for each virtual LAN on your managed system unless you are creating redundant trunk adapters for virtual trunk adapter failover capability. If you create redundant trunk adapters for virtual trunk adapter failover capability, you must follow these rules when creating these adapters:
