Enter the number of minutes that the system waits before the process is stopped. If you do not enter a timeout setting, then the timeout uses the default value of 5 minutes.
Some operations might require more than five minutes to complete. In such cases, increase the number of minutes here so that the HMC is able to complete the operation.
This option displays only if you are using dynamic logical partitioning to add or remove a virtual adapter.
