Any client partition can connect/Only selected client partition can connect

Indicate which virtual client SCSI adapters are to have access to this virtual server SCSI adapter. This choice is available only for virtual server SCSI adapters.

• If you select Any client partition can connect, then you can connect to this virtual server SCSI adapter using any virtual client SCSI adapter on this managed system.
• If you select Only selected client partition can connect, then you can connect to this virtual server SCSI adapter only using the virtual client SCSI adapter that you indicate in Client partition and Client adapter ID. Enter the partition ID of the logical partition on which the virtual client SCSI adapter exists into Client partition, and enter the slot number of the virtual client SCSI adapter into Client adapter ID. You can enter these values even if the logical partition or virtual client SCSI adapter does not exist yet.

Although you can set up a virtual server SCSI adapter to accept connections from any virtual client SCSI adapter, a virtual server SCSI adapter can be connected to only one virtual client SCSI adapter at a time.
